Allan D. Poteshman’s practice focuses on solving problems for his clients, no matter what their issues may be. Using his interdisciplinary knowledge, he has a track record of effective solutions for all problems that come across his desk.
His main area of expertise is Real-Estate and Construction. Having been the past president of the Construction Law and Real Estate Society at American University Washington College of Law, he continued to build on that passion by entering into Settlement Practice straight out of law school. In settlement practice Allan had to master many facets of law including taxation, trust and estates, and business formation. He expanded his practice beyond settlements, to work on litigation and negotiation. Since then he has worked on a variety of issues including construction contract disputes, business formation and operating agreement documents, immigration, employment, and most recently a felony criminal defense.
In building his expertise to serve clients in the above fields, Allan has developed a creative client-centered practice that is designed to solve problems in any way possible and is perfectly situated to find unique solutions to any problem.
Allen received his B.A in political science and his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law. He is admitted to practice in Maryland.
